Kate Tunney attends Spenser Academy with the Sons of Ipswich. She is Sarah's roommate and the two quickly become friends, with Kate taking her under her wing and introducing her to Caleb Danvers.

History[]

Her roommate is Sarah Wenham and she is currently dating Pogue Parry. She is seemingly unaware of the magic power he and his three friends have, even though she's questioned Pogue about his family's history in the past.

She falls victim to Chase Collins, who was a descendant of the banished fifth family of the Covenant, placed under a spell that caused her to get sick and suffer from anaphylactic shock due to being bitten by spiders, and used as bait to lure Pogue to Chase, who later injures him. After Chase is defeated by Caleb, she and Pogue recover from Chase's powers being used on them.

Presumably, she and Pogue reconcile.

She's bubbly, flirty, and likes to have a good time. Even though Pogue's jealousy seems to be a constant source of irritation for her, she appears to care for him, but isn't above flirting with new transfer student Chase Collins.
